Glen A. Rothstein is a nationally recognized and respected entertainment and sports law attorney, and former Partner and Marketing Committee member of the prestigious Los Angeles law firm of Greenberg Glusker Fields Claman & Machtinger LLP.  Glen focuses his practice in the area of general commercial litigation, primarily in the entertainment, sports, interactive gaming and digital and mobile app industries.  He represents clients in state and federal courts across the country as well as before arbitral tribunals such as the IFTA Arbitration Tribunal, American Arbitration Association, JAMS and administrative tribunals such as the California Department of Industrial Relations.  Glen’s successful representations cover a broad range of matters including:

  • Represented and secured substantial monetary damages award in favor of major independent motion picture studio following multi-week arbitration involving breach of contract and other claims relating to colorization and visual effects rendered in connection with Academy Award nominated film
  • Represented and secured substantial monetary damages award in favor of foreign sales agency in connection with IFTA arbitration involving breach of contract and other claims relating to sale of slate of motion pictures, including Academy Award winning Best Picture of the Year
  • Represented Academy Award winning actor in connection with successful dismissal at the pleading stage of California state court attempted civil extortion claim
  • Represented Hall of Fame NBA, NFL and other high profile professional athletes in connection with general litigation and business matters
  • Represented respected independent videogame developer and high profile individual directors and officers in connection with successful dismissal of $25 million lawsuit brought by former putative business partner on lack of personal jurisdiction grounds
